TSD's CADD manager is responsible for the production of technical drawings for both engineering and surveying projects. These drawings are produced in Intergraph MicroStation and AutoCad. The CADD manager, working with registered engineers and surveyors, schedules the CADD Technicians she supervises, reviews their work and keeps current with appropriate standards, making sure her staff is utilizing them. She has performed courthouse research; reduced survey notes; assisted with mathematical calculations for roadway alignments, drainage design, earthwork, site layouts, right-of-way and quantity takeoffs; and produced drawings both manually and via CADD. Staff in the CADD Department produces drawings with the following information: survey computations; Right-of-Way resolution; geometric design of roadways; cross-sections; cover sheets; typical sections: Right-of-Way, construction maintenance, signing and striping, utility, preliminary and final construction plans, drainage maps and etc.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:
Most of the design and development is done by our Engineers on personal computers connected to a local network, utilizing specialized design and planning software (CAiCE, CLM CEAL, Microstation, Highway Capacity Software, HY-8, WSPRO, MS Word, MS Excel, Word Perfect, MS Project, Lotus, AutoCAD, HEC-2, Geopak, and Terramodel).
