The project includes the preliminary planning and design for an approximately 2-mile trail located in the City of College Park . The proposed project is a continuation of College's Park's Linear Pedestrian System. The trail will connect the College Park MARTA Station with the Central Business District and the surrounding residential areas. Eventually the trail will provide access to the Brady Park Community Center and to the other trails proposed throughout the City. The majority of the trail project includes “on- road” bike lanes, and the addition of sidewalks in a few areas. A small portion of the project includes “off-road” trails. Transportation Systems Design, Inc. has completed the construction documents for the project. The project is funded through the Transportation Enhancement Activities program.
